Weardale Cheese

Based in the unlikely setting of an old Prisoner of War Camp hut, Weardale Cheese makes white and blue artisan cheeses. Their range of hard and semi-soft cheese includes Weardale, Prince Bishop, St. Cuthbert and Bonny Moor Hen. The milk used to make the cheese comes from two local dairy farms, in Crook and Hunwick.
