The Hungry Caterpillar

We are a family run traditional greengrocer. The village of Dipton had seen a decline in retail outlets over the last few years, our aim when we opened was to turn this trend around, providing the local community with a retail outlet which would enable them to have easy access to a wide selection of high quality fresh fruit and vegetables.
We offer a doorstep delivery service, which the elderly and housebound find particularly beneficial, as do our busy working Mums. We are a local supporter of the Change 4 Life, NHS campaign, as well as a recipient for the Healthy Start Vouchers.
We support local producers by choosing to buy local produce as much as possible. When local produce is not available we source regional and British produce, before any other option.
