A not-for-profit initiative set up in 2020, Scoop Durham is run by Durham University students. It’s a zero-waste store offering plastic-free essential non-perishable dried foods including grains, spices, rice, dried fruit, tea, coffee, all sold by weight. Local delivery to Durham city centre currently being trialled (October 2020)

Our customers vote for one of three charities at the checkout point, and all our profits for the term are split between them according to the corresponding number of votes. This term these charities are FareShare, RSACC and DASH. Please head to our social media pages to find out more about them.
